Most doctors recommend getting a yearly check up. This is so the doctor can make sure your body is functioning correctly and you are up to date on the shots you need. If you have health concerns or a rough medical family history, a check up every six months would be best.
If you participate in any school sports, you need a yearly physical to make sure you are healthy enough to play the sport.
So if you haven’t been in awhile ask your parent or guardian to make an appointment.
