The International Consumer Electronics Show went down on January 6th and lasted till the 9th of January in sunny Las Vegas, Nevada. The show is more commonly known as CES and companies from all over the world go and show their upcoming products. There were over 3,000 exhibitions and over 170,000 people attended.

Products ranged from self-driving cars to 3-D food printing machine. There are even a few products that won’t be released until 2030! That’s right, the self-driving Mercedes Benz automobile won’t be around for a long time.

The car was taken for a spin around the Las Vegas strip and looked good.

The big companies such as Samsung and Sony brought their best to the table with 8k TVs, which are super ultra high televisions that take HD to a whole new level. There were also next upcoming companies that were debuting new, never before seen products. A fan favorite this year was the Marble Skateboard which is a smart skateboard that can go up to 20 MPH and be used for a daily commute.

Urbana High School Junior Anthony Tuel said, “I would like the 8K, I wouldn’t want the car because I’d rather have a nice diesel truck.”

The show really is a sneak peak into the future of technology and many people get excited for the future. As more companies start to emerge and create innovative technology it will be a matter of time before….
