He raps about living his luxurious lifestyle, his mother, and even shades fellow Young Money member, Tyga. A line that has caused much controversy from “6 PM in New York” was on the topic of Tyga’s relationship with 17-year-old Kylie Jenner:

“I heard a lil lil homie talking reckless in Vibe/ Quite a platform you chose, you shoulda kept it inside/ Oh you tried, it’s so childish calling my name on the world stage/ You need to act your age and not your girl’s age.”

The reception has been well as it debuted #1 on the Billboard Hot 200 album chart, selling 535,000 units, according to Variety. Drake also received the highest amount of streams for a first week in Spotify history with 17.3 million streams in three days, which added 40,000 units to his opening sales number.
