Stop and smell the roses– Wait! It’s fall! Stop and smell the pumpkin spice, the hot chocolate, the caramel goodness and start a bonfire with your trendy new look. Please tell me you’ve got your summer clothes deep within your closet and out with the fall looks? Tell me your bright neon bikini tops are well replaced with sweaters, or that your alternative for linen fabric is velvet?

Fall is here and it’s time to embrace it! What’s a better way than changing your look? If you follow the trends your closet is probably bursting with new boots, sweaters, turtlenecks, dark forest colors and bomber jackets. Turtlenecks are making a come back from the 70’s. Kalika Shapiro thinks that the 80’s and 90’s are definitely coming back with the faux fur, choker necklaces and crop tops. Kurstin Fly is noticing lace up tops looking greater than ever! Fall fashion is most definitely the comeback season.

Halloween inspires us to dress in darker spooky fashion…. Or maybe it’s just nature changing colors. However you see it the fact is, it’s getting colder. As with every season change, get the most out of your wardrobe by coming the new trends with what you already have. Combining last year’s clothes with today’s isn’t sin, you just need advice!

We all love our summer dresses but it’s both out of season and out of reason to wear it without the fall touch. Wear a turtleneck underneath to give it that warm feel.

If you’re anything like me, most of your closet consists of crop tops, do what I do and wear high-waisted extra tight skinny jeans to cover that midriff. Add on a bomber jacket and call it a fall look.

Have a skirt you just refuse to put away? Wear it with a sweater! Tuck it in the skirt and add on some boots with long knee high socks and name it reusable.

Definitely though you should still buy new clothes because…. It’s fun! Bomber jackets, plaids, sweaters, boots, metallics, embroidery, jumpsuits, denim (high-waisted or not), bodysuits, sport apparel, and ironic tees are the essentials right now.

Looking for the best option to stock up? I highly recommend Forever 21. Primarily because it’s amazingly cheap. Forever 21 is also great because the whole store is divided up into different fashion categories. Edgy, girly, simple, earthy, curvy and men’s fashion all under one store. That way you can please your every aesthetic.

Can’t appreciate fall fashion? Look at it this way, it’s sweater weather! The time of the year when dressing lazily, big and with layers is the warmest satisfaction ever.

I can most definitely agree with Kurstin when she says, “I actually love everything about fall fashion.”
