Spokane Shooting: 1 Dead, 3 Injured

On Wednesday, September 13th, Caleb Sharpe, rode the bus to Freeman High School in Rockford, Washington with a duffel bag. Inside was a rifle and a handgun. He began shooting outside a Biology classroom shortly after 10 a.m. and lasted about a minute.

In the shooting, Sharpe wounded three teenage girls: Emma Nees, Jordyn Goldsmith, and Gracie Jensen. At the time of this writing, all three are listed in stable condition at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.

A teenage boy, Sam Strahan, stepped in to try and stop Sharpe. Strahan was shot and killed.

The shooting ended when the school custodian tackled Sharpe and kept him from harming anyone else until the police arrived.

This is the 11th High school shooting in the United States, 2017, according to Everytown Research.
