Coming This Thursday: Annual Band Trivia Night Fundraiser
The Urbana Bands are holding their annual Trivia Night fundraising event this Thursday, January 22.
This is the 4th annual trivia night for the group and is a great opportunity to have fun with friends and family, while also helping raise money for the band!
Vinnie Kisuba, freshman, will be coming to the trivia night for the first time this Thursday. Kisuba is excited to attend an event that gives him a chance to show his diverse knowledge and express his love for trivia.
Theresa Sweeney, a former member of the UHS Band Boosters, has attended trivia nights with her family, going back to 2016.
She says that she would recommend the Band Trivia Night to newcomers because “Trivia nights are always a lot of fun whether you win or lose, and they are even better when you are helping raise money for a good cause.”
She says her favorite part of this annual fundraising event is “the creativity of the team names, and I love the intensity and competitiveness from teams.”
Additional Information
The event will be held at 6:30 pm at Biaggi’s, 2234 N. Neil St in Champaign, with doors opening at 5:30.
Gather your friends and bring a team of six, or the boosters will help you find one! There is a suggested donation of $25 per adult or $15 per student at the door, and a $20 discount will be offered per prepaid team of six. Food and drink will be available for purchase, and of course, there will be prizes!
