Love is in the Air: Celebrating Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day is around the corner, and everyone is all cuddled up for this year.

Let’s talk to some couples to see how their Valentine’s Day will go and what they would buy to honor their love.
Senior Nazir Johnson says, “My Valentine’s Day is going to be great. Me and my girlfriend have been going together for almost 2 years. What I would buy for my Valentine is something she would love and adore for a long period of time such as jewelry, clothes, shoes and flowers on top of that!”
Valentine’s Day is more than a day for candy and gifts. It’s about love and the moments that you spend with your partner.
Senior Brett Inman said, “I’m going on a date night with my girlfriend and I already bought her flowers. My favorite memory with my girlfriend was when she surprised me with a birthday with all my friends and all the stuff she did to make it happen,” he said.
Junior Jew’ell Dyer has a different meaning on Valentine’s Day.
“I like Valentine’s Day because it’s a day to show love and appreciation to the people who matter the most,” she said.
No matter how you spend Valentine’s Day, just enjoy being in the presence of and spending quality time with the people you love.
