Athlete of the Week: Payton Sheen
This week’s athlete of the week is junior Payton Sheen, known on the court for his gifted three point shooting.
Sheen is a transfer from Champaign Centennial, where he played Varsity as a sophomore. He currently leads the Tigers in ppg (point per game) with 13.0.
When he’s not on the court, Sheen can be found “getting in the gym, hanging with my friends, and Snapchat.”
After high school, he plans on going to college and playing basketball. Before that, Sheen’s wish is to win a state championship title.
Good luck to Payton Sheen and the Varsity Basketball team this week as they travel to Normal to battle Normal West this Friday night.
