UHS Echo Goes Online
The students of Urbana High School have worked hard to cover school news and student-related stories in The Echo for 97 years now. Each month, a stack of crisp papers full of new articles and pictures has arrived for UHS to enjoy. This year however, we’re going to shake things up a bit. Instead of printing a monthly edition of The Echo, we’re launching the paper online. That’s right- online!

Students, staff and community members can now access breaking news and student life stories everyday, all the time at the Echo‘s online site. We will do our best to keep new articles posted frequently, though in the beginning we may be a little slow as we get used to the process. Once we get going, we hope you will find a new, interesting post to enjoy every time you visit our page.
Another goal of The Echo going online is to give our readers the chance to interact with the newspaper. We will feature polls where you can vote, comment sections at the bottom of each story for feedback and many more opportunities for your voice to be heard.
Thank you for supporting us all this time in our endeavor to keep the news of Urbana High School available to everyone. Without your readership, our publication would be unable to thrive. We look forward to the new adventures that come with this change, and hope you will continue to stick with us as we “echo” the views of UHS students online.

Congrats to the Echo staff on such an impressive addition and edition. As a parent, it’s wonderful to have better access to topical info. As a former art directior, it’s great to see such an eye-appealing website and makes one jealous to not be having the fun (or challenges) with this that you are/will. Way to Go Echo Staff!!!
