On April 17, 2011, the Boston Celtics competed against the New York Knicks and won with a score of 87 to 85.
This will put the Celtics in a 1-0 series lead, which they are now 2-0 since April 19, 2011, and as of April 2 they have beaten The Knicks four times. Rajon Rondo had 9 assists and 10 points.
“As the point guard of Boston Celtics, I expected him to bring his best to the play offs, which he did,” said Freshman Chris Revell.

Both teams have different strengths and defenses; the game was decided by a three point shot. 
Through a clutch moment Ray Allen was able to deliver the three point shot that put their score to 87 against the New York Knicks 85. With only 11.6 seconds the Knicks were unable to come back. Ray Allen made 24 points during the game on April 17.
Sophomore Micshad Townshend is inspired by the shot and can only say, “He clutched.”
During the Game on April 19 the second round of the play offs, the Celtics came out victorious with a score of 96 to the Knicks 93. Rajon Rondo made 30-points and Paul Pierce in the second half making 16 out of his 20 points then.. 

The Celtics was able to go 3-0 on Friday April 22 at 7p.m. With the leading score of 113 to the Knicks 96 it was a 17-point lead. Paul Pierce paced the Celtics making 38 points, Ray Allen made 32, and Rajon Rondo posted a triple double of 15-points. No team has ever come back from a 3-0 lost.
On April 24, 2011, which was also Easter, the fourth game against the Knicks was held.The Celtics led with a 3-0 and officially made it 4-0 after the defeating The Knicks with the score of 101 to the Knicks 89. Rajon Rondo had 21 points and 12 assists. Also, with Kevin Garnett scoring 26 points help put the Celtics in the lead.
Junior Darius East said, “Celtics are the best in the league. ”

Being the team with one of the best records it was only known that they would bring their game to the play offs. Winning against The Knicks with a 4-0 record will put the Celtics against Miami. The first game on May 1, 2011, Miami came out victorious.
Junior Kamiya Gable said “Miami is a better team, hopefully Celtics get it together next round.”
