“Our goal — the goal of the organisers — is to ensure the security of Olympic Games participants and guests.”

The group of terrorist have been carrying out twin attacks in an attempt to make a new state in North Caucasus that abides by Islamic Shariah Laws. The region has been known as corrupt, specially in Chechnya, where Russian forces have been fighting separatist for the last 20 years. Recent twin bombings on trolleybuses and railroad stations have left over 100 injured and 34 dead.

“After the Boston Marathon bombings I can only hope that the games turn out okay. I really wouldn’t want more people to live that experience” said Jose Gamino, Junior at Urbana High School.
