The Urbana High School Drama Club will be putting on Urinetown this week, a play about a town where you have to pay a “pee tax” to use the restroom.

Ella Burrus, junior, describes Urinetown as “a mixture of social justice and comedy.”

Marshawn Bingham, sophomore and tech crew member appreciates the uniqueness of the show ”…it is interesting and something new.”

Burrus promises that, “Urinetown will be fun! Everybody in the show is talented and deserves the support of their fellow students and also it has a lot of valuable lessons in it about life.”

Urinetown will run from Wednesday November 7th to Sunday, November 11th. Doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7:00 PM Wednesday to Thursday. On Sunday, the doors open at 2:00 and the show starts at 2:30 PM.

Tickets are $5 for Students with ID and $10 for adults.
