With the NFL draft rapidly approaching, teams are running out of time to make the hard choice of who to add to their rosters this offseason. Here are our suggestions;

Baltimore Ravens: #1 Wide Receiver; If Lamar Jackson is going to continue to show he was the right choice in this past year’s draft, he needs an elite wide receiver to throw to.

Suggested trade: Second round pick for Antonio Brown

Buffalo Bills: Defensive Tackle; The Bills don’t have much to trade, and they should focus on rebuilding around a young core. Best case scenario is that Buffalo can draft a defensive end with the ninth overall pick.

Suggested pick: DT Ed Oliver, Houston

Cincinnati Bengals: Quarterback; Andy Dalton has been good. He has been somewhat reliable with the Bengals. But the fact stands that he has never won a playoff game and most likely will not, as he seems to be beginning the end of his career.

Suggested pick: QB Drew Lock, Missouri

Cleveland Browns: Defensive Coordinator; After Greg Williams walked away at the end of the season, it became clear what the Brown’s needed most. With a solid defense in 2018, there isn’t much that desperately needs to be improved in the offseason. A solid coordinator would turn this into a top 10 defense in 2019.

Suggested hire: Marvin Lewis

Denver Broncos: Offensive Line; If the Broncos are serious about calling Joe Flacco an elite quarterback, they’re going to need be able to protect him. Not saying that will guarantee that makes him “elite” though.

Suggested pick: OT Jawaan Taylor, Florida

Houston Texans: Offensive Line; Deshaun Watson is dynamic under the right circumstances, and having time and protection will help those circumstances. Houston should either pick up a young lineman late in the draft or sign someone in free agency.

Suggested signing: OT Daryl Williams

Indianapolis Colts: Running Back; Marlon Mack was a godsend for Indy this past year. Other than him, they don’t have much depth at the running back position. Draft or free agency are both options for the Colts.

Suggested signing: RB Tevin Coleman

Jacksonville Jaguars: Quarterback; Blake Bortles failed his last chance at showing he could lead his team. Out with the old and in with the new.

Suggested signing: QB Nick Foles

Kansas City Chiefs: Running back; Spencer Ware did a pretty darn good job after Kareem Hunt was cut from the team last season. But he won’t be a long-term solution for the Chiefs in the future.

Suggested signing: RB Le’Veon Bell

Los Angeles Chargers: Offensive Line; Philip Rivers isn’t getting any younger, although he doesn’t seem to be getting any older. If the Chargers want to be able to keep him around for a while longer, they’ll need to be able to keep him well protected.

Suggested pick: OL Dalton Risner, Kansas State

Miami Dolphins: Quarterback; Ryan Tannehill could do great things. But in order for that to happen, he needs to stay healthy and consistent, neither of which seem to happen for very long. Finding a young QB in the draft doesn’t sound entirely bad, until you realize the Dolphins pick 13th overall. Hope and pray Dwayne Haskins is still on the board.

Suggested pick: QB Dwayne Haskins, Ohio State

New England Patriots: Everyone stays healthy; The Patriots still have Tom Brady. They still have Bill Belichick. Those two alone make this team a contender, but then you add in factors like Gronk, Sony Michel, and a solid defense? Their only worry is making sure all of their starters stay healthy.

Suggested pick or signing: Defensive back

New York Jets: Offense. Just Offense; Yes, the Jets are picking 3rd overall. No they are not going to use that pick on any offensive player (D.K. Metcalf is good, but not that good). New York needs to try to find a sleeper with one of their later picks, like the Bears did last year with Anthony Miller.

Suggested Pick: TE Irv Smith, Alabama

Oakland Raiders: Don’t blow 3 first round picks; The Raiders are becoming the Cleveland Browns, sad to say, but we can only hope and pray they aren’t AS bad for AS long. With THREE first round picks, it seems almost impossible that they could mess this draft up, right? Right?….

Suggested pick: DE Rashan Gary, Michigan

Pittsburgh Steelers: Trade Antonio Brown; Yeah. Pretty simple. Just trade him. Somewhere.

Suggested trade: Antonio Brown for second round pick from anyone willing

Tennessee Titans: Keep Marcus Mariota on the field; Marcus Mariota is the Titan’s leader. No doubt. And Derrick Henry has shown that he can be a reliable playmaker. Every great team has both of these two types of players, so the Titan’s have potential to be great, right? Answer: As long as Mariota can stay healthy and be on the field, yes.

Suggested pick: Backup QB in case Mariota gets injured
