Dear Delilah #4

Dear Delilah,

There’s someone that I want to ask to prom, but I’m honestly not sure what they will say. I have a few classes with them, but they don’t seem to notice I exist. I even try to smile at them in the hallway, but they don’t even look my way!! What do I do?

Dear Hopeless Romantic,

Honestly, just shoot your shot! The worst thing they can say is no. Try not to overthink it too much and just be yourself.

Since you don’t really know this person, try to keep it simple, nothing too over the top (You don’t wanna seem like a stalker). A box of chocolates and possibly a flower will do. Maybe a cute little sign too.

Maybe you could even talk to their friends to find out what they think of you beforehand?

Find a time that you feel would be best to ask them and do it! If you feel comfortable asking them alone, then maybe ask them to stay after class and talk.
