It’s spooky season! Yearbook team members put together a spook-tacular idea to raise money for a new camera: boo bags. These boo bags include the following…Vampire teeth, stickers, temporary tattoos, spider rings and more!

Junior Antonio Flemons made sure to buy his on the first day.

“I bought it for a loved one to show I care because she loves Halloween and cutesy things,” he said.

But it wasn’t just students buying the bags. English teacher Kim Summers bought them for her entire Comp 9 class.

“I bought them because my kids are amazing and wanted to celebrate them while helping the yearbook staff raise money for a new camera,” she said.

The fundraising aspect was great, but so was spreading Halloween spirit around school.

Yearbook advisor Felicia Tufano said, “The fundraiser was amazing! We sold over 140 bags, and I really think it helped us spread school spirit. I know my students were really excited when they got bags from their friends.”
