Sephora Scores with UHS Students
Girls throughout Champaign-Urbana anxiously awaited the grand opening of Sephora months before it opened its doors on July 16 of this year.
Many girls and women, including myself, raced into Sephora the first chance they got; and I’d be surprised if anyone was not pleased with what they found.
Sephora is generally known as a make-up store, but the inventory includes cosmetics of all types. Their items are definitely worth it.
I use several different items from Sephora; Carol’s Daughter Rosemary Mint Purifying shampoo and conditioner and Carol’s Daughter Hair Milk. The shampoo and conditioner is ideal for all hair types, it’s really moisturizing, and smells amazing. The Hair Milk is a curl definer, but I use it as a moisturizer before I blow-dry my hair. It gives my hair shine and it makes it really soft.
I also use the Murad skin-care line. It consists of facial cleanser, toner, exfoliating gel, a sulfur-based acne spot treatment and skin protection lotion. I’ve been using Murad for about a month and my face has been really clear, with almost no breakouts. Murad is expensive, as is Carol’s Daughter, but it’s definitely worth the money.
Sephora is open on Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Go visit it the next time you go shopping, maybe you’ll fall in love with the store just like I did.
