Amber Alert Sounds Today
Thursday afternoon, a five-year-old boy from Park Ridge, Illinois was stated missing and an Amber Alert was called on him. An alert rang out on many phones at UHS near the beginning of 7th hour.
The five-year-old Drake Whitker was reported to be asleep in a 2012 Audi Q5 back seat when all of a sudden the car he was in was taken. Police got the license plate number, and the car had been taken right in front of the home where the boy lived around 12:30 Thursday afternoon. The last time anyone had seen the car was when the car was heading towards Northwest Highway, until about 2:30 when the vehicle was found near Skokie.
