Spreading Cupid’s Cheer at UHS

The season of love is on its way; let’s take a look at how UHS celebrates Valentine’s day!

“I love that there is a day dedicated to celebrating and appreciating the people I love,” said junior Joe Solava.

And it’s not just him.

“I just adore Valentine’s Day. One of the main reasons is because I love seeing everybody in pink, because that’s my favorite color. Also I love the little hearts and it’s just such a cute girly holiday. I love getting my friends stuffed animals and candy, I just love giving things for Valentine’s Day,” said sophomore Lily Kacich.

Seems like you’d be lucky to have Lily as a friend!

If you want to spread Cupid’s cheer and you’re struggling to find ways to celebrate a loved one this year, here are some ideas!

Take your closest friend out and buy them a Starbucks drink! Write your parent a card. Wear the most festive outfit to represent Valentines Day to school. Give your friends a small gift to let them know you love them! Or the simplest idea could be just purchasing a soda or candy gram being sold in the commons!
