Counselor’s Office Creates Facebook Page
Calling all Facebook users! The UHS Guidance and Counseling Office now has a Facebook page and you can become a fan. Don’t worry if you join the page, people won’t know about all your stuff, the only thing they will be able to see is your picture and name.
The UHS Guidance and Counseling Office page was created this Halloween. The goal of the Facebook page is to give announcements such as college visits, scholarships, test dates and registering for classes.
“They (students) are doing social networking and texting, we are trying to be where they are” said counselor Mr. Furrer. The guidance department is just trying to better reach students and thinks that doing this will be easier with a Facebook page. So make sure you become a fan of The UHS Guidance and Counseling Office.
