Summer is supposed to be a time of joy, laughter, and most of all… movies! Every summer there is always a powerhouse movie blockbuster out every week. Superhero movies left to right, funny movies up to down, but this summer was a decent year. With exceptions of a few movies, this summer had brought movie cinema to a downfall! Here are my summer movie and actors takes, and what I thought was an Oscar worthy, or just so bad that it might even make the Razzies!

Most Surprising Movie: Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World

This movie brings out the funky, cool style that’s just right for a bright summer movie! Feels just like you’re in a video game with great special effects and killer acting. You can’t go wrong with this movie. Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera) must fight evil exes to win the heart of his love one. There’ no way this movie couldn’t make the list! 3 ½ STARS.

Most Disappointing: Twilight Saga: Eclipse

Okay Twilight fans, I am sorry it’s come to this, but can they ever improve the work of this saga? These are pretty bad movies with pretty bad actors. I honestly believed that this movie would be so much better but I was tricked. There’s nothing “apple juicy” about this, more like biting into hard decorative apple. Once again Bella is in a tough situation on who she wants to choose… its either Edward, or Jacob, and also if she wants to be human. What does this make Bella? Well I might not be able to answer that question, but it’s very clear what that makes her when she goes back and forth between two guys. High hopes have been brought low for this movie. Wouldn’t hurt to miss this one. 1 1/2 STARS.

Best Action Movie: Inception

By far one of the smartest movies you’ll ever see. This summer movie was hands down what I’ve been looking for all year long. It makes you wonder if you’re dreaming or not? It’s making me wonder if I am dreaming right now writing this review? Cobb (Leonardo Dicaprio) is a man on a mission to get back to his kids by putting together a group to invade the minds of his enemies dreams and unlock the mystery within. Word of Advice: If you have a headache, pass this movie up! 3 1/2 STARS. Oscar Buzz!

Best Summer Movie: Toy Story 3

http://blog.productionwizard.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/toy-story-3.jpg

This is the best movie of the summer! When you think of love, joy, and most of all… friendship you think of this blockbuster hit! Toy Story 3 shows us how toys can have feelings and even they know how to do the right thing. A tear-jerker? Yes! But Woody (Voiced by Tom Hanks) must save his best friends from an evil dictating daycare in charge of by other toys! It brings excitement for all ages! A must see. 4 STARS. Oscar Buzz!
