The College Football season is getting closer to playoff time and most people seem to think they know who will make the college football playoffs and compete for the National Championship. Most people don’t see very many upsets, but read on for some predictions that might change your mind.

Will not make the College Football Playoffs: Alabama

The defending National Champs have a 7-0 start, but I strongly believe that they will lose at LSU and then will lose the Iron Bowl to the Auburn Tigers. Two losses on the season will leave the Tide outside of the playoffs.

Will make the CFP: Oregon

The Ducks finished with a 7-6 record last year but are now on track to win the Pac-12 and have a 5-1 record with a weak back half of the schedule. They looked strong after a early loss to the Stanford Cardinals and looking forward to being a play

off team. Their upcoming game against Washington State will d

etermine how prepared they are for the national stage.

Will not make the CFP: Oklahoma

Last year the Sooners were a playoff team with Heisman winner Baker Mayfield  but after a 48-45 loss to the Texas Longhorns on Saturday and a very weak schedule, I see the Sooners missing the playoffs even if they win out and win the Big-12 conference.
