Illini headed to Maui Invitational
The Illinois Men’s basketball team will travel to the Maui Invitational November 19-21 where the Illini will face Gonzaga in the first round. In their previous meeting in 2012, the Illini beat the Zags 85-74.
The last time the Illini appeared in the tournament was in 2012, when they knocked off the Butler Bulldogs 78-61 for the Championship title.
